Gregory Bish

Coordinator of Curriculum and Instruction

Gregory Bish, Ed.S., is currently the Coordinator of Curriculum and Instruction for Battle Creek Public Schools. He spent the previous five years as a principal at BCPS. Before coming to Battle Creek Public Schools, Gregory served in many roles ranging from a classroom teacher to the Senior Director of School Transformation with Partners in School Innovation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to strengthen teaching, learning and achievement in underperforming public schools and districts. Gregory received his undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University, his Masters in Educational Leadership from Western Michigan University and Educational Specialist Degree from the University of Michigan, Flint. With over 15 years of experience in the classroom, as a coach/consultant, and as an administrator, Gregory is dedicated to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive in schools through a school system designed to deliver high quality instruction.

Every system is perfectly designed to achieve exactly the results it gets and It is hard to improve what you do not fully understand. Through this session participants will learn about two effective practices that help district level leadership teams see the systems that are producing the current outcomes to then support building leaders in identifying next steps for intentional improvement.
