Celebrating Courage & Perseverance

19 January
Time:  1:45 pm - 3:00 pm
Location:  Fields (Lower Level)

Commitment is a journey! Perseverance and courage is the KEY to reaching the destination. The literacy and mathematics vision we are striving for requires transformational change in the ways we think about systems, educators, and children. This work takes both courage and perseverance. Participants will engage in dialogue around how the MAISA GELN Literacy and Math Essential Instructional Practices and Essential School-Wide and Center-Wide Practices in Literacy and Mathematics set the stage for this transformation and understand the commitments that will help them get there. In addition to the Essential Practices, participants will walk away with resources developed to support local districts in this important work.
