John Dignan

John Dignan, Ed.D., is the Superintendent of Wayne-Westland Community Schools. Dr. Dignan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science from Michigan State University, a Master of Arts degree in History from Eastern Michigan University, a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Madonna University and a Doctorate of Education degree in Educational Leadership and Innovation from Madonna University. In addition, Dr. Dignan holds a professional teaching certificate in history and social science for grades 6-12 and a school administrator certificate in elementary and secondary administration. Dr. Dignan comes from a family of educators, both of his parents were educators and his sister is a special education teacher. He is married with three children.
