Kirsten Myers

Kirsten Myers is the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services for Kent ISD which entails leadership for special education, mental wellness, special populations and diversity, equity and belonging.  She is also on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Association of Administrators of Special Education (MAASE) and Vice Chair on the Board for the Special Education Instructional Leadership Network (SEILN). Prior to coming to Kent ISD, Kirsten served at the local level as the Executive Director of Special Services at Rockford Public Schools.

Leveraging Student Voice to Lead Change

Attendees will learn about the power of leveraging student voice through a student perception survey. Schools will have the opportunity to administer the survey in their districts this spring and participate in a statewide coalition to lead change.
