Amanda Faughnan is the Supervisor for Social and Emotional Learning for the Wayne Westland Community School District where she has supported her community for the past 14 years. Amanda believes strongly in whole child wellness and that equitable access to primary care, mental health, and social services is critical for all students to learn and thrive. Healthy living: physically, mentally and emotionally is directly linked with positive educational and social outcomes. She has a gift of seeing past challenges to the potential of each child has driven a career focused on honoring students while helping them celebrate their unique and authentic selves.
