Dr. Dania Bazzi
Superintendent
Dr. Dania Bazzi is currently the Superintendent of the West Bloomfield School District and was the 2022 Michigan Superintendent of the Year.
Previously, Dr. Bazzi served as the Superintendent of Ferndale Public Schools and Galesburg-Augusta Community Schools. She has also held the positions of Director of Teaching & Learning for Hamilton Community Schools, School Improvement & Data Consultant with Jackson County Intermediate School District, and a math teacher at John Glenn High School. WBSD’s mission is to support each student’s needs by providing the opportunities, experiences, and educational tools for their journey.
Dr. Bazzi earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Wayne State University. She holds a master’s in Teaching and bachelor’s degree in Mathematics both from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
Dr. Bazzi and her husband Zach reside in Canton, with their children Danny and Norman.
